Who else has heard that “Botox and fillers change your face!”?

Botox and Fillers change Your Face?Well here is the #Reality: AGING is changing your face… whereas injectables can help maintain your face and keep a youthful appearance. Let's talk about the aging process. As you age, you lose volume in your face creating sunken cheeks, sagging skin, deepened smile lines, marionette lines, tear troughs under your eyes, etc. If you slowly replace the volume that you are losing with Hyaluronic Acid Fillers, then you can reverse these changes as they are occurring. Now of course, this depends on the QUANTITY and QUALITY of filler treatments, which is why it is very important to do your research before choosing your injector! If you do too much filler, I feel that you can actually look older (yikes!) OR if placed incorrectly, then this could cause a “botched” or undesirable look.

Another part of aging is that repetitive, dynamic muscle movements (ex: frowning or squinting) creates wrinkles in your skin. Botox or Dysport can relax these muscles in order to prevent these deep creases from settling in. This is one of my favorite preventative treatments! My recommendation is to start injectables in your late 20s/early 30s when you start to notice these changes.
