Sculptra is a collagen-stimulating injectable treatment designed to restore volume, enhance facial balancing, and improve skin elasticity. It is made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which gradually boosts your body’s natural collagen production. It is a great option for addressing volume loss, wrinkles, and sagging skin.

What are the Benefits of Sculptra?

  • Long-lasting results (many of our patients report two years or more).
  • Gradual, natural improvements over time.
  • Wrinkles and fine lines smoothed naturally.
  • Natural facial volume restoration.
  • Stimulates collagen production to promote healthier, firmer skin.

What Areas Can Sculptra Treat?

  • Cheeks and temples for facial balancing
  • Smile lines (nasolabial folds) and marionette lines
  • Jawline for a naturally tightened appearance.
  • Décolletage (chest area)
  • Buttock enhancement and hip dip correction
  • Cellulite smoothing

Sculptra for the Body

Sculptra is also a perfect choice for non-surgical body rejuvenation. Treatment can help improve skin quality and restore volume in areas of the body where collagen loss or volume depletion has occurred.  Holly Shipley, PA-C specializes in using Sculptra treatments for body contouring in the buttocks and hips.

What Can Sculptra Do for the Body?

  • Buttocks Enhancement: As a non-surgical alternative to a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), Sculptra can enhance volume, lift, and contour for a fuller, more sculpted look.
  • Cellulite Reduction: Smooth dimples and improve skin texture.
  • Décolletage or Chest: Reduces fine lines and increases skin elasticity.
  • Thighs & Arms: Restores firmness and reduces sagging or crepey skin.
  • Knees: Improves the appearance of wrinkled or sagging skin above the knees.

What Should I Expect During a Sculptra Treatment?

After a patient is numbed with our prescription strength numbing cream, the Sculptra is deposited in the skin using small needles. The Sculptra is injected with sterile water, which resorbs over the next day or two. There can be some mild soreness or swelling, but the majority of patients report no downtime. Over a period of several weeks, the collagen is produced naturally in response to the Sculptra. Follow-up treatments are typically scheduled after 1-2 months, unless no further treatment is necessary. The amount of treatment needed depends on a number of factors, including a patient’s needs or desires, the facial anatomy, and the specific areas treated.
