Revanesse Versa & Revanesse Lips in Weston, Florida
Both Dr. Greene and his P.A. Holly Shipley have been treating patients with Revanesse Versa for many years. Performing thousands of treatments with the Revanesse fillers has given them an intimate understanding of how to best utilize the product to maximize its potential. It requires years of experience with a product to fully understand its capabilities and limitations. Few injectors in the United States have more experience with Revanesse in the lips and lower face than Dr. Greene and Holly.
Revanesse Versa has long been one of Dr. Greene and Holly’s preferred lip filler choices due to its versatility, longevity, and smooth consistency. If injected correctly, Versa delivers natural results. Versa is also a great choice for lines and folds around the mouth and lower face. The increased 1.2cc volume in the Revanesse syringes offers another advantage for patients who desire more volume in their lips or would like to use some of the filler in other areas of the face. Due to its unique properties, Revanesse Versa can create very natural results in the lower face. Some hyaluronic acid fillers can look stiff or puffy if placed incorrectly or in patients with thin skin. Versa is a softer filler that creates a smooth, natural appearance.
Revanesse is a dermal filler which has been manufactured by Prollenium in Canada since 2012. Revanesse Versa was approved for use in the U.S. in 2017, followed by Revanesse Lips in 2020. Like Juvederm and Restylane, Revanesse is a hyaluronic acid filler. The Revanesse filler particles are smoother and more uniform than those of other fillers, and are made up of only high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. This advantage creates a smoother product that induces less swelling once injected and leads to excellent longevity. Longevity with Revanesse is comparable to other hyaluronic acid fillers, and may last even longer in some patients.

What are the advantages of using Revanesse?
- Less swelling – Many of our patients have noted less swelling after treatment with Revanesse compared to other fillers. Swelling and bruising can certainly vary among patients, and can be due to a number of factors other than the filler itself.
- Natural results – Due to its soft consistency, Revanesse can create a very natural appearance to the lips and lower face.
- More product – Revanesse syringes have an increased volume of 1.2cc, which may be desirable to patients who would like to treat multiple areas of the face.
- Versatility – Revanesse Versa and Lips can be used in many areas of the face other than just the lips and nasolabial folds.
What is the longevity of Revanesse?
Longevity is due to a number of factors, only one of which is the specific filler. True longevity is influenced by the volume of filler injected and the patient’s unique anatomy. A patient with more volume injected may notice the clinical result for a longer period of time. The reality is that hyaluronic fillers often last well beyond one year, though preserving the result may require maintenance treatments. After performing thousands of Revanesse treatments, Dr. Greene and Holly have noted that the longevity of Revanesse is comparable to other hyaluronic acid fillers.
Can Revanesse be used in other areas of the face?
Most hyaluronic acid fillers seem to perform best in certain areas of the face and for specific applications. Revanesse was designed for areas like the lips and lower face. While it can certainly be used for cheek and jawline contouring, it does not have the lift potential of more structural fillers, like Juvederm Voluma and Restylane Defyne. However, Dr. Greene and Holly do sometimes use Revanesse layered over other fillers for improved contour.
